PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our regional marketing team to help transform the business and deliver on our ambition to grow through expansion into e-commerce and digital healthcare services.
Beyond day-to-day marketing, the role involves Business Development (BD) to build the product pipeline and fill the innovation hub. The ideal candidate will work independently, demonstrating creativity and passion. The responsibilities include:
- Developing innovative marketing plans in partnership with affiliate businesses and the global marketing team.
- Forecasting marketing initiatives based on consumer insights and analysis of new business opportunities.
- Enhancing capabilities and talent pipeline within the marketing organization.
- Leading programs to deliver on the APAC strategy to double the business size.
The position also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across geographies.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and support the APAC region’s strategic business plans for the product group, focusing on current and new product launches.
- Support affiliates to ensure the commercial success of assigned brands/therapeutic areas (TAs).
- Promote a marketing-led mindset in APAC EPD, with insights, patients, and customers at the core.
- Develop project and marketing plans for new product introductions, utilizing internal and external resources.
- Achieve sales targets, optimize promotional budgets, and improve market share of brands across TAs.
- Design and manage insights-driven brand plans for APAC, identifying future trends and addressing key issues and critical success factors (CSFs).
- Execute annual and long-term marketing plans across APAC in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Review, challenge, and ensure effective execution of affiliate marketing plans.
- Organize regional marketing programs, including digital and multichannel customer engagement.
- Monitor and adapt marketing program execution based on performance metrics.
- Manage regional launch plans and optimize promotional support budgets.
- Provide commercial input for new product development (NPD), clinical development, licensing, and acquisitions.
- Leverage market insights and research to meet unmet needs of key brands.
- Build capabilities in launching new BGx and marketing BGx.
- Collaborate with sales teams to reinforce portfolio selling and category management.
- Share best practices across affiliates.
- Represent Asia in divisional/global marketing forums.

Minimum Education/Experience:
- Business degree – Graduate or Post-graduate.
- At least 8 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- Regional experience is an asset.
- Local APAC experience, including at least 1 year in sales, is preferred.
- Knowledge of the APAC pharmaceutical market.
- Experience in Oncology, Immunology, or Respiratory TAs.
