As an Operational Quality Manager/Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring effective Regional oversight of the Haleon Quality Management System (HQS) in your local region to meet both regulatory and customer expectations. This includes harmonizing the quality standards and simplifying processes while driving both compliance and efficiency.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include:

• Authorized Person (AP) for CHQSC Kuala Lumpur, performing tasks relevant to batch release, including approval of batches in MERPs, preparation of CoA, and retain sample review for products manufactured or packed in CHQSC KL, in accordance with regulatory and GMP requirements.
• Coordinating Product Incident Management (PIRC/Recall), Product Complaint handling, Periodic Product Review at the site, and monitoring/reporting KPI related to OQ section weekly and monthly.
• Leading deviation management improvements as site deviation management champion, facilitating online problem solving, conducting investigations with cross-functional departments, and providing batch disposition for release after reviewing deviation reports.
• Revising SOPs related to the OQ section in accordance with Haleon Quality System (HQS) and Regulatory requirements.
• Assisting the site in preparing for audits, including external/regulatory audits.
• Conducting internal audits as required.
• Leading the OQ oversight team to ensure shift-based oversight of facilities, equipment, and personnel for compliance in real-time.
• Conducting GMP and Quality/SOP training.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Site Quality Head, such as department OPEX & CAPEX.
• Overseeing validation and qualifications processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience in GMP in the pharmaceutical environment.
• Minimum 6 years of Manufacturing/Quality experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience applying Quality Management Systems in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.

• Strong interpersonal skills to enable and drive change.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with multi-functional teams.
• Technical knowledge in manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Thorough knowledge of GMP and GLP.
• Skills in auditing and report writing.
