Operation, Leasing & Event Manager / Senior Executive
Job summary
A property management company in Penang is seeking an Operation, Leasing & Event Manager/Senior Executive. The role involves overseeing project operations and ensuring smooth event execution. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience in operations, leasing, or event coordination and is required to have a diploma or degree in a related field. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach are essential. The position requires working in Batu Ferringhi, with possible weekend or evening duties.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in operations, leasing, and/or event coordination.
- Experience in retail, commercial property, mixed-use development, or hospitality preferred.
- Willingness to work on weekends or evenings for events.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the whole project operation according to Agreement for Concession.
- Manage and solve issues from tenants and attend to new enquiries.
- Supervise Handyman, Security and Cleaner.

- Responsible for the planning and execution of events. Ensure that each event runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Execute, source, negotiate and secure new tenants while managing lease renewals and terminations.
- Prepare and review leasing documents, proposals, tenancy agreements and related paperwork.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with tenants, vendors and other service providers.
- Maintaining communication with all team members throughout the planning process to ensure the best possible outcome of the event.
- Managing the flow of operations during an event to ensure that everything runs smoothly, including setup, tear down & activities.
- Overseeing the marketing and promotion of an event to ensure that it is well attended by the target audience.
- Overseeing all aspects of event planning, including finances, contracts, timelines, staffing, and vendors.
- Conduct and develop market research and intelligence for innovative marketing concepts and strategies.
- Participate and implement promotion strategies with the team.
- Provide constant suggestions, feedback to enhance sales, market intelligence, and market study.
- Any other task assigned by the superior and other ad-hoc activities.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Real Estate, Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in operations, leasing, and/or event coordination (depending on seniority).
- Experience in retail, commercial property, mixed-use development, hospitality, or events management preferred.
- Willingness to work on weekends or evenings when required for events or operational needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing to work in Batu Ferringhi, Penang.
