About the Role

As a Fire and Life Safety Manager, you will be focusing on the management of Fire and Life Safety facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth daily operations of the Hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the Hotel Fire & Life Safety (FLS) system operation and maintenance.
  • Responsible to take active leadership in managing and upholding fire and life safety (FLS) and occupational safety & health (OSH) in hotel.
  • Ensure the compliance of the Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems with local fire safety codes, regulations, and corporate standards.
  • Plan and implement regular inspections, testing and maintenance of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems and equipment.
  • Supervise fire compartments, escape routes, and ensure unobstructed access at all times.
  • Conduct fire life safety training and fire drills to promote safety awareness and emergency preparedness for staffs and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications and training activities.
  • Control the permit to works for fire and life safety related activities.
  • Coordinate with Security and relevant authorities on life safety matters.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
About You
  • At least 3 years of solid fire & life safety experience in the Engineering/Security Department with firefighting equipment knowledge of Hotels with similar capacity.
  • At least 3 years of working experience working for organizing fire drill exercises, fire hazard elimination, risk assessment, fire emergency plan and workplace hazard analysis.
  • Possess SLIM certification and recognized certification in performing fire safety engineering.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and training skills.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
