Job summary

An infrastructure solutions company in Penang is seeking candidates for a role requiring a Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Responsibilities include ensuring M&E maintenance processes are efficient, attending to breakdowns, and maintaining safety standards. Job Description
Monitoring of transportation operation
  • To ensure all M & E maintenance process for incinerator and laundry plant in high performance and efficiency
  • To attend breakdown maintenance during working hours or after working hours (on call) of the M & E equipment or system at Kamunting Plant and to report immediately to superior any faulty
  • To provide corrective / preventive actions for the M & E services provision by evaluating and identifying areas of improvement.
  • To maintain firefighting equipment accordingly.
  • To ensure that all electrical equipment including motors, lighting, socket outlets and air conditioning panels are functioning and in good working order at all times by carrying out regular service.
  • To ensure that correct procedures are followed when operating the M & E equipment and other equipment at all time.
  • To comply with any reasonable work instruction as required by the management.
  • Responsible to ensure all equipment breakdown in record
Analysis of Service Performance
  • To maintain efficient control system of records, communication and correspondence pertaining to the documentation of all legislation requirements.
  • To ensure data and records related to the M & E operation are documented and updated accordingly.
Compliance to standards operating procedure (SOP) , statutory and legal requirements
  • Working toward maintaining ISO’s certification and meet the standard and requirement from internal and external party.
  • To ensure all M & E equipment process follow SOP and comply with the statutory and legal requirements
  • To ensure housekeeping are maintained at all times
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • To aware and follow safety standard procedures.
  • To aware to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while carry out in line with relevant procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 1 - 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Able to read and understand M&E floor plan
  • Independent and adept at working in groups, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
