A recruitment firm is seeking a sales professional to drive client acquisition and maintain relationships with local Malaysian companies. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2.5 years of sales experience in trading or manufacturing, specifically in food additives, chemical raw materials, or personal care ingredients. Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay are essential, while proficiency in Japanese is a plus. The role includes business trips within Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.
Drive new client acquisition targeting local Malaysian companies.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
Develop sales strategies and tailor solutions to meet client needs in the food, chemical, and cosmetics & personal care sectors.
Participate in business trips to East Malaysia and Penang, as well as overseas trips to China and Southeast Asia to support client engagement and business development.
Minimum of 2.5 years of sales experience in a trading company or manufacturing environment.
Proven sales experience in food additives, chemical raw materials, or personal care ingredients.
Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay; proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle.
