Senior Piping Materials Lead Engineer
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer in Piping Material. This role involves managing engineering schedules, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring project quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 17 years of relevant experience, specifically in the oil and gas sector. Qualifications
- 17+ years of experience in piping engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Minimum of 8 years in plant engineering or shipbuilding as a Senior Engineer.
- Significant experience leading project piping teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering schedules and workflows from FEED to detailed design.
- Support quality control plans with engineering subcontractors.
- Mentor and train junior peers, supporting their career development.
