QA Engineer / Sr Engineer
Job summary
A growing international company in Penang is seeking an experienced QA Engineer/Sr Engineer to enhance its Quality team. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality systems, managing audits, and optimizing performance standards. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and possess 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience, with expertise in ISO standards. Strong collaboration and Microsoft Office skills are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/System Management.
- Expertise in Quality Management System for ISO9001, IATF16949.
- Knowledge in Process and System Validation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with all standards.
- Compile quality metrics for internal and external review.

An exciting opportunity to work with an expanding Swedish company based in Penang Science Park as we are seeking an experienced and motivated QA Engineer / Sr Engineer to join our dynamic Quality team.
- Implementation, maintenance and compliance of internal and external (laws, regulations, guidance’s, customer’s and standard) requirements and procedures.
- Execute experience and expertise in internal and external auditing techniques, strategies and approach for customer, certification body and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, conduct and close interfacing scheduled audits to assess compliance internally and externally with all customers, certification and regulatory bodies.
- Build up team competency and knowledge on quality system requirements.
- Collaborate in cross functional and across site to standardize Quality System policies and procedures.
- Compile and update quality metrics presentation for internal and external review.
- Assist Management Representative in related activities.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Expertise and knowledge in Quality Management System for ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO13485, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Knowledge in Process and System Validation preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- At least 3‑5 years’ Quality Assurance/System Management experience in Automotive/Medical Device.
