Job description
Our Team

You will be part of the CCS Molex Malaysia division, collaborating closely with all Molex Malaysia entities. Our team is dedicated to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning facility environment, supporting business operations through proactive facility management and vendor supervision.

What You Will Do

Lead the daily operation, preventive, and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems including CDA, HVAC, Chiller, Vacuum, Exhaust, and Fire Protection while monitoring system parameters via SCADA/BMS or manual inspections for operational stability.

Conduct capacity studies and system optimizations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime, regularly reviewing and updating P&ID drawings, equipment lists, and maintenance procedures.

Oversee the operation, inspection, and testing of Fire Alarm, Fire Pump, Sprinkler, and Fire Hydrant systems in compliance with BOMBA standards (MS 1910, NFPA), coordinate fire drills and emergency responses, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings with valid certifications.

Maintain CDA system performance to meet ISO 8573 air quality standards, perform leak audits, and implement projects to reduce air loss and energy consumption while coordinating servicing of air compressors, dryers, filters, and condensate drain systems.

Plan, design, and execute facility projects such as system upgrades, new machine hook-ups, and expansions, preparing technical specifications, reviewing contractor submissions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality deliverables from initiation to handover, supervise external service providers for maintenance, calibration, and installation works, and conduct vendor evaluations and performance reviews ensuring safety compliance.

Verify service reports and spare parts replacements, maintain comprehensive documentation, monitor utility consumption trends, and support energy-saving initiatives aligned with ISO 50001 standards.

Perform efficiency studies on compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems to identify cost‑saving opportunities, implementing optimization programs such as load sharing, automation, and inverter controls to reduce energy costs.

Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, and Local Authority (PBT) requirements, support internal and external audits for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 certifications, and promote a safety‑first culture within facility operations.

Provide technical coaching to technicians, participate in daily Gemba/production meetings, lead root cause analyses and corrective actions, benchmark system reliability, and implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) elements including Autonomous Maintenance and Kaizen activities to improve uptime and system reliability.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
