Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize production equipment for Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC). This role includes developing maintenance plans, troubleshooting equipment, and implementing automation solutions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in MLCC production. Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in process engineering.
• Experience with MLCC production preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MLCC production equipment and automation systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for MLCC production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors for equipment upgrades and technology improvements.
• Work with Process Engineers to optimize equipment parameters for yield and quality improvement.
• Implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual intervention.
• Maintain equipment manuals, maintenance records, and calibration logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO/IEC requirements.
