Kulim Plant Finance Manager: Growth & Compliance
Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Kulim is seeking a Finance Manager to supervise GL accounting and manage financial statements. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in finance roles, holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a professional qualification like ACCA or CPA. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is essential for success in this role, which offers an opportunity for growth in a new plant setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting disciplines.
- Professional qualification ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or MICPA.
- More than 7 years of experience in similar roles.
- Min 3-5 years in supervisory role.
- Familiarity with ERP system, SAP will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Supervises activities of GL accounting, audit, tax, and leads preparation of standardized financial statements.
- Manage and comply with local, state and Central Bank reporting requirements.
- Responsible for year-end closing and liaison with external auditors.
- Ensures timely completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting reports.
- Plans and directs activities of specialized accounting functions.
