About the role

Xiangyu Furniture Manufacturing SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounting Executive to join our dynamic team in Pontian, Johor. As an Accounting Executive, you will be vital in maintaining our financial records and accounts for our growing furniture manufacturing business. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for professional development and growth.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations
2. Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
3. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
4. Conducting financial analysis to support business decision-making
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
7. Providing administrative support to the Accounting and Finance department as needed

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax law and SST
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Good understanding of costing and inventory flow
• Proficiency in accounting software (SQL/Autocount is a plus)
