Responsibilities
- Monitor daily lost parcel cases across branches to ensure compliance.
- Follow up on overdue, incomplete, or insufficient investigation cases.
- Analyze root causes of lost parcels using tracking data.
- Develop preventive measures for high-risk stations.
- Record violations and enforce corrective actions.
- Compile key metrics and perform trend/risk analysis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.

About the role As a Loss & Claims Investigation Specialist at J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and resolution of lost or misplaced parcels within our KL Eco City Kuala Lumpur operations. This full-time position is essential in maintaining our high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Monitor daily lost parcel cases across branches, sorting centers, and transport units to ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Follow up on overdue, incomplete, or insufficient investigation cases with responsible units.
- Analyze root causes of lost parcels (e.g., missed scans, parcel mix-ups, transport negligence) using tracking data and operational records.
- Develop preventive measures and improvement plans for high-risk stations or recurring issues.
- Record violations by responsible units and enforce corrective actions, including warnings, penalties, or follow-ups.
- Compile key metrics (lost parcel numbers, loss rates, responsibility distribution, compensation costs) and perform trend/risk analysis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to provide management with accurate data for decision-making.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in logistics, courier operations, or quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data reporting.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
