A leading semiconductor company in Malaysia is seeking a Material Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for production while optimizing costs and inventory. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, working with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The Material Planner (Direct Material) is responsible for ensuring timely availability of materials to support production needs while optimizing cost and inventory levels. The role involves close coordination with suppliers and internal teams to prevent shortages, reduce obsolescence, and drive continuous improvement in material planning processes.
