Job summary
A leading firm in financial services is seeking motivated professionals in George Town to assist with bookkeeping, tax compliance, and client service. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. This position is suitable for fresh graduates and those with up to 2 years of experience. Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates and individuals with 1–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian tax regulations required.
- Capable of working independently with minimum supervision and as a team under pressure.

- Assisting with bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Performing data entry into accounting or ERP systems.
- Preparing financial statements and undertaking reconciliations.
- Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Liaising with clients and government authorities for compliance.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Assisting with bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Performing data entry into accounting or ERP systems
- Preparing financial statements and undertaking reconciliations
- Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Liaising with clients and government authorities for compliance
- A relevant diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
- Fresh graduates and individuals with 1–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount)
- Strong attention to details with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capable of working independently with minimum supervision and as a team under pressure
- Has exemplary sense of responsibility, organizational and time management skills
- Able to multi-task and adapt to dynamic changes in the business environment
- Has effective communication skills
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
