Job summary
A leading technology firm in Johor, Kulai is seeking a Project Engineer to assist in project management and plan implementation. Responsibilities include chairing project meetings, monitoring project progress, and supporting logistics for engineering samples. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in project engineering within the manufacturing industry and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Preferred one year experience in project engineering in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in EMS industry is a better advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager in preparation and implementation of Project Executive Plan (PEP).
- Chair meetings and drive execution and closure on all project tasks.
- Attend weekly progress meetings and assist in preparation of minutes.
Skills
Assist Project Manager in preparation and implementation of Project Executive Plan (PEP).
Chair the meeting with Project Team and drive the execution and closure on all project tasks per the project planning.
Attend the weekly progress meeting (internal as week as customer) and assist in preparation of minutes of meeting.
Monitor work in progress and prepare weekly report of the status of each assignment.
Assist the team in executing project plan, drive cross-functional project team and focus on meet and satisfy customer's needs in product quality, delivery and cost.
Coordinate material and assist in logistic, shipment of engineering samples to customer.
Coordinate with all projects related personnel (project team members) on day to day progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
Provide full support as required by the management and project manager for all projects.
Manage the product specification and manage the product changes (Product ECN management)
Support Production and the team in MES management.
- Preferred one year experience in project engineer in manufacturing industry
- Experience in EMS industry will be better advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
- Good communication skill and willing to learn
