Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the deployment of People Development plans and team competencies as per the agreed schedule, including training on equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene.
- Enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all shift personnel.
- Coach employees to meet and exceed job requirements through the NCE approach.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of work areas and installations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Enforce personnel hygiene and safety protocols, including protective clothing, shoe changes, and handwashing.
- Promote continuous improvement and employee involvement culture via NCE, driving excellence and supporting staff tasks.
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to develop team members and achieve objectives in line with NCE guidelines.
- Develop succession plans and coaching for direct reports, including specific training development.
- Ensure adequate skill distribution to meet production plans effectively.
- Coordinate the timely launch of new products to the market as per business unit agreements.
- Oversee maintenance of installations in collaboration with quality, engineering, and administration teams.
Success Factors
- Proven knowledge in food manufacturing or related food sciences/engineering degree or diploma.
- Relevant work experience during or after studies.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Leadership demonstrated through project management within a factory environment.
- Ability to confront inappropriate behaviors constructively and use coaching to engage the workforce.
