Job description
Responsibilities

Supervise daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and achievement of production targets (raw material planning, manpower, equipment)

Plan and optimise production scheduling to reduce change-over downtime (machine washing, product switching, line clearing).

Ensure full compliance with GMP, HACCP, FoodTag and internal food safety standards.

Oversee bakery processes (mixing, proofing, baking) and ensure consistent product quality.

Support new product development (R&D) including trial runs, formulation adjustments and process validation.

Lead and train production operators on SOP, hygiene, safety and machine handling.

Conduct line inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance team to minimise breakdowns.

Requirements
  • Must have experience or background in food processing, bakery production or factory supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FoodTag, HALAL requirement and food safety requirements.
  • Preferable baking experience.
  • Experience in production planning and reducing change-over downtime is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in R&D or product development.
