The QC Supervisor oversees all quality control activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure products meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role leads the QC team, monitors production quality, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and strengthen process consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control Operations
- Supervise daily inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturing quality standards, including AQL, sampling plans, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Verify product conformity to specifications and customer requirements.
- Monitor production lines to identify quality risks and work with operations to resolve issues promptly.
- Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate QC inspectors/technicians.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and support their skill development.
- Ensure the QC team follows established inspection procedures and safety guidelines.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, rework documentation, and quality logs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports for management.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, etc.).
Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work with production and engineering to prevent recurring defects.
Process & Quality System Improvement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Participate in internal audits and support external customer or regulatory audits.
- Recommend and implement process modifications to enhance quality and reduce scrap.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other applicable manufacturing quality standards.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure QC team adherence to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Quality Management / Food Technology / Food Science / Biotechnology, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1–2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Fresh graduate, encourage to apply.

- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Proficiency in measurement instruments and quality inspection equipment.
