A leading manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production and facility operations. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to ISO and GMP standards. Candidates should possess a degree in Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP and HACCP will be an advantage.

Job description

Operations and management of production with the emphasis on productivity, GMP and cost effectiveness

Handle overall plant and factory production, operations and facilities management

Assist in achieving optimum productivity on production floor and ensure production schedule and targets are met

Actively involve in planning of Production Schedule, Manpower, Process Flow and Quality Plans

Ensure consistency and cohesiveness of ISO and GMP system of Manufacturing Department

Liaise with suppliers and contractors in daily plant management

Requirements

• Degree in Biotechnology/Food Technology/Food Science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years working experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical manufacturing industries
• Self-driven with leadership competencies, a good team player, problem solver, observant and strong analytical skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to converse in Chinese dialects would be an added advantage as this would enable to communicate with Chinese-speaking staff or suppliers.
