Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely processing of transactions to support the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Handle data entry related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense submissions.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting practices.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties related to finance.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience At least 2 years as an Accounts Assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
