About the role

MR SPECIALITY SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our team in Selangor. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting for the company, playing a vital part in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and administration work
• Reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Collaborating with the finance and administration teams to improve processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements
• Providing support and guidance to junior members of the accounts and administration teams
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounts or financial reporting role
• Minimum LCCI qualification or a related field
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
