Job summary

A corporate services company in Penang seeks a Company Secretary Co-Ordinator to assist with corporate governance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience handling statutory records and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders. Must hold relevant qualifications and possess strong communication skills. Competitive remuneration ranging from RM3,000 to RM5,000 based on experience.

Company Secretary Co‑Ordinator – Executive / Senior Officer

Position : Company Secretary Co‑Ordinator – Executive / Senior Officer

Reporting : MANAGING DIRECTOR

Job Roles and Responsibility
  • Liaise and assist in coordinate with the Company Secretary on the Corporate Secretary administrative related matters
  • Assist in preparing proper, timely and update of all statutory records (register of members, directors and secretaries, etc), corporate profile, etc
  • Assist in arranging and processing the resolutions, annual returns, beneficial owner declaration, etc for Boards and members
  • Assist in liaise & communicate with internal parties eg directors, finance, operation team, etc and external parties, eg external auditors, bankers, legal advisors as needed on compliance matters
  • Attendance at (In the absence of Company Secretary) and preparation of minutes and reports relating to board and committees’ meetings
  • Assist in safe keeping of statutory documentations and maintaining databases of these documentations and filling on timely basis
  • Assist in correspondences with renewal business licenses
Others
  • Must be ready to perform any ad-hoc tasks as required by the Company.
  • Any other general office administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Secretary / Full or Partial ICSA qualification or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant corporate secretarial working experience
  • Able to handle secretarial related matters with minimum supervision
  • Good knowledge of statutory requirements and compliances
  • Good personality, communication skill and customer service orientation ie listening, follow through, willingness to help
  • An effective team player with the ability to work independently
  • Able to write and speak English, Malay, Mandarin and other local dialects
  • Added advantage if have knowledge on financial academic and SSM-MBRS 2.0
  • Competencies in organized and able to meet dateline / tight schedules.
  • A Retired personnel with relevant experience is acceptable
  • Prefer those can start work immediately

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday : 8.30am to 6pm

Friday : 8.30am to 5.30pm

Remuneration Package (Subject to experience)

RM3,000 – RM5,000
