Job summary
A manufacturing company in Kajang is seeking a skilled welder to perform MIG and TIG welding. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of welding experience and be able to read technical drawings. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with specifications, problem-solving welding issues, and supporting production efforts. This role requires physical fitness and teamwork, with a focus on maintaining safety standards during welding operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year direct working experience as a welder, preferably with MIG welding.
- Able to read and understand work order, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Physically fit to perform all duties relating to welding.
- Team player, able to work with all levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding works according to approved drawings and quality specifications.
- Examine and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Identify potential welding problems and work out solutions.
- Coordinate with Production for efficient installations.
- Improve and sustain housekeeping.

- De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
- Improve and sustain housekeeping
- Support in training as and when required
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
