Culinary Assistant — Senior Living Kitchen Support
Job summary
A senior living community located in Klang City is seeking a Commis to assist with daily food service operations. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness while adhering to safety and dietary requirements. Applicants must have a minimum education of SPM or a related culinary qualification, with an understanding of Chinese cuisine preferred. The role demands a hardworking team player who can work in a fast-paced environment, with shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field.
- Fresh graduates with culinary training are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in Chinese cuisine is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to the menu.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Store ingredients per food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory control.
- Collaborate for timely service.
