A global leader in engineered materials seeks a Production Manager in Penang, Malaysia. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Business Admin or related fields and at least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities include coordinating production plans, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards. Strong knowledge in ERP tools and lean manufacturing practices is essential. The position is onsite and offers a competitive compensation program in a dynamic environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
management, and employee development. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring shiftily production plan. Responsible for coordinating to meet the prod key performance index (Pack out, OTD, HPU, CT, Aging, DPPM, ICAR and Attendance ). Responsible to supervise the production Supervisor / Line Leader KPI. Enhance awareness and practice with evidence that Quality and 5S are well maintained. Able to analyse production related data (Hourly output, MU, Aging, Stock item consumption, WIP and JO variance) that have been gathered by the production team to ensure proper control & compliance with the production system. Control Stock Item consumption. Manage and responsible to review prod direct labour and subordinate discipline and attendance. Manage headcount allocation and balance the manpower including scheduling cross training plan. Monitor to keep inventories at required level. Ensure implementation and employees adherence to EHS, ESD and cleanroom requirement (cleanroom in TOCAN only). Work with planner to allocate PM time accordingly to maintenance plan. Enhance one-point lesson related to human error to assure direct labour quality practice. Responsible to control employee attrition and retention rate. Responsible to keep RBA rule by enhancing systematic control to avoid back dated payment and clearance leave balance. For ME work in shift, they are responsible to patrol whole dept. area to observe any issue that require attention such as discipline, 5S and EHS matter.
