Job description
Job Responsibility
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure, using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into accurate and comprehensive drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the drafting process.
- Review and interpret survey reports, geotechnical data, and other relevant information to incorporate accurate site conditions into drawings.
- Manage and maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation, ensuring proper organization and accessibility for project teams.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters, assisting with complex drafting tasks and ensuring quality control of their work.
- Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin with team members, clients, and stakeholders to clarify design details and resolve any drafting-related issues.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant technical drawing software.
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans based on engineering specifications.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction/building industry is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
