Job summary
A reputable recruiting firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Commercial & Restaurant projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field. Responsibilities include managing cost estimates, preparing budgets, conducting site visits, and ensuring project delivery. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Professional membership with a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Commercial & Restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for projects.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide cost-saving solutions.
- Monitor project costs and ensure that they remain within budgetary constraints.
- Assess and manage contract variations, claims, and disputes.
- Work closely with the project team, including engineers and contractors, to ensure effective project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and assess value for money.
