Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BMS Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, programming, and commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS), as well as providing technical support and training to clients. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work on project sites across Malaysia.

Requirements

• Able to START IMMEDIATELY. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with good knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Willing to work at any location within Malaysia based on project assignments.

Responsibilities

• 1. Designing and Developing Building Automation Solutions
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and design professionals to develop efficient and sustainable building automation solutions.
  • Prepare system designs, schematics, and technical documentation based on project requirements.
  • Select appropriate equipment, materials, and components for system implementation.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to recommend improvements for existing systems.
• 2. Programming and Commissioning Building Automation Systems
  • Develop and test software code for BMS solutions.
  • Configure and integrate multiple building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and access control.
  • Perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate as designed.
• 3. Troubleshooting and Resolving System Issues
  • Perform regular maintenance and health checks on installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system performance issues.
  • Implement software updates and upgrades to improve system performance.
• 4. Managing Project Timelines and Budgets
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
• 5. Training and Supporting End-Users
  • Conduct training sessions for system end-users to ensure effective system operation.
  • Prepare user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• 6. Keeping Abreast of Industry Trends
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in building automation and BMS technology.
  • Participate in industry conferences, training programs, and continuous learning activities.
