Job description

Develop and issue detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and manufacturing teams to confirm material and capacity availability.

Create work order and monitor production progress and revise schedules when necessary due to equipment breakdowns, material delays, or staffing changes.

Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure finished goods are delivered on time.

Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems including work orders, lead times, and production status.

Analyse performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, production efficiency, order cycle time) and recommend improvements.

Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to production supervisors and related departments.

Participate in daily manufacturing meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.

Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or equivalent
  • 5 years and above of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or equivalent).
