A luxury hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef to assist with the efficient running of the pastry department. The role includes managing operations and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to brand standards. Candidates should be Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents, ideally with a culinary diploma or experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel or F&B industry. Strong skills in organization, interpersonal relations, and kitchen hygiene practices are essential for success.
You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the pastry department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest, and owner expectations. The Pastry Chef is responsible for assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the assigned pastry kitchen operation as a successful independent profit centre, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organising, directing, and controlling the pastry kitchen operation and administration.
