Job summary
A luxury hotel group in Malaysia is seeking a Valet Coordinator to assist with daily laundry operations in the Housekeeping Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a hotel laundry department and possess strong customer service and computer skills. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required. - At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Laundry Department in Hotels.
- Good knowledge of clothing labels and laundry procedures.
- Good computer and customer service skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming guest calls regarding laundry inquiries and service requests.
- Collect and inspect guest laundry items, reporting any damage upon collection.
- Record laundry orders and item quantities accurately in the system.
- Sort laundry items by material and colour for proper processing.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
