Assortment Planning: Support the Merchandising Manager in developing and implementing assortment plans based on market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to optimize product mix and drive sales growth.
Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sell-through rates, and implementing replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations.
Market Research: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape, providing insights to inform merchandising decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and warehouse, to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
