A global logistics leader in Penang seeks an experienced professional to oversee logistics operations, ensuring compliance and quality management across the supply chain. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and significant experience in logistics operations and quality management. This role involves managing control tower teams and improving operational efficiencies.

Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, we provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers – helping them deliver better results every day.
Lead and manage control tower teams overseeing transport execution, planning, and exception handling.
Ensure real-time visibility and proactive resolution of logistics issues across the supply chain.
Maintain alignment with client SLAs, KPIs, and operational requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (carriers, warehouses, 3PLs) to ensure seamless logistics flow.
Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (OTIF, lead time adherence, cost-to-serve, etc.).
Lead root cause analysis for service failures and drive corrective actions.
Prepare regular performance reports for internal leadership and client governance meetings.
Define and implement quality standards, procedures, and best practices within the LLP framework.
Manage quality audits, compliance checks, and documentation in alignment with ISO and client-specific standards.
Lead incident and non-conformance management processes, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage)
Minimum 6 years’ experience in logistics operations, preferably in a control tower or LLP/4PL environment.
Minimum 3 years' of experience in quality management, compliance, or continuous improvement roles.
Minimum 3 years' of experience of TMS, visibility platforms, and transport/logistics processes.
Minimum 3 years' of experience in multi-country & multi-site stakeholder/client communication and governance management.
