A telecommunications company in Johor is seeking a Head of Sales Channel Management to drive sales strategies and manage the sales team. The ideal candidate should have 10–12 years of experience in the sales/retail industry, preferably in the Telco sector, along with excellent communication and multitasking abilities. This role offers a chance to lead sales channels and implement strategic initiatives.
Qualifikationen
- 10–12 years of experience in Sales/Retail industry, preferably in Telco.
- Well versed with distribution and Retail/Sales Force Model.
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment.
Aufgaben
- Strategize and drive overall sales channel to achieve targets.
- Work with Sales Team to meet acquisition and revenue targets.
- Build brand image and achieve market leadership.

Location: Johor Office, Malaysia
The Head of Section, Sales Channel Management is responsible for strategizing and driving the overall sales channel including Franchise and Retail by achieving the volume/value/profitability targets. This role involves managing the sales team and channels, understanding market trends, and implementing company sales and marketing strategies.
- Strategize and drive the overall sales channel including Franchise and Retail by achieving the volume/value/profitability targets.
- Work with Sales Team to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly acquisition and revenue targets.
- Develop the sales team and channels.
- Understand market trends, competition and suggest tactical plans to achieve.
- Build brand image, position and achieve market leadership for regions.
- Implement company sales and marketing strategy and harness the full potential of the retail distribution system for all products.
- Dimension the complete distribution channel; set distribution benchmarks and monitor performance; develop and implement secondary tracking and other related processes; expand distribution depth and width, conduct distributor audits and monitor competition distribution strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study required.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Sales/Retail industry, preferably from Telco industry.
- Well versed with distribution.
- Knowledge of Retail and Sales Force Model.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking and decision‑making skills.
- Statistics‑driven mindset with an eye for problem solving.
