Job summary

A leading coffee company in Malaysia is seeking a sourcing specialist to manage suppliers for various ingredients and ensure cost optimization. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business, with 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B industry, and is capable of negotiating with vendors and coordinating across teams. This position is crucial for maintaining product quality and availability.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably F&B.
  • Experience in Coffee-Related Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Source, validate, and manage suppliers across coffee, dairy, flavoring, and machine categories.
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times for cost optimization.
  • Coordinate ingredient/machine readiness for tests and rollouts.
  • Develop and maintain cost tracker sheets in alignment with R&D goals.
  • Liaise with local & regional supply chain teams for material flow.
  • Conduct supply audits, monitor MOQ and ensure food safety standards.
  • Identify alternative vendors and backup formulations to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Finance to evaluate cost-saving opportunities.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Source, validate, and manage suppliers across coffee, dairy, flavoring, and machine categories.
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times to balance cost optimization with quality retention.
  • Coordinate ingredient/machine readiness for mass tests, pilot launches, and phased rollouts.
  • Develop and maintain cost tracker sheets (BOM, PSPD, SKU) in alignment with R&D cost goals.
  • Liaise with local & regional supply chain teams (MY, PH, ID, TH) for readiness and material flow.
  • Conduct supply audits, monitor MOQ and shelf-life, and ensure alignment to food safety and ESG standards.
  • Support Coffee Squad by identifying alternative vendors and backup formulations to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Finance to evaluate COGS and cost-saving opportunities per SKU.

Qualification & Experience
