Job Responsibilities

• 1. Logistics Operations Management:
  • Oversee the entire logistics process, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods.
• 2. LMW Compliance:
  • Manage and maintain the LMW license, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation related to LMW activities.
• 3. Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize the supply chain and minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
• 4. Inventory Control:
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• 5. Cost Management:
  • Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and other logistics partners to secure favorable rates.
• 6. Process Improvement:
  • Continuously review and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
  • Implement best practices and new technologies to streamline operations.
  • Work closely with the production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
  • Provide logistics support and guidance to cross‑functional teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Licenses Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
