A global hygiene and health company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a key member of the Finance Leadership Team. This role involves managing the monthly financial closing process, statutory reporting, and leading a team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of FMCG experience and a strong background in financial control and reporting. This role is a key member of the country Finance Leadership Team with accountability for overall monthly financial closing process, statutory reporting and filing, and tax accounting. Member of the global finance controller group to drive business hygiene in full compliance with local statutory and internal controls. Work closely with key stakeholders including local management, internal / external auditors, tax officials, corporate tax and treasury team. This role will manage a team with five direct reports ensuring top quality financial support for effective decision making within the business.
Need to have strong background in both Financial Control & Reporting, with proven capabilities in business partnering and change management, together with talent development & leadership qualities
