• Provide General Accounting & Reporting services to BSSCKL’s customers, ensuring compliance with established processes, policies, guidelines, and legal requirements.
• Meet timelines and quality standards aligned with service levels and targets.
• Assist with and perform Financial Reporting tasks as needed.

Functional Tasks include:

• Support Financial Reporting transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Analyze and book accounting transactions, maintain master data, and perform account analysis.
• Clear open account items and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports for group, management, statutory, and ad hoc purposes.
• Coordinate closing activities and perform analytical reviews.
• Resolve issues related to Financial Reporting processes and liaise with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and perform backup duties when required.

• Participate in audits and respond to queries.
• Maintain updated work documentation and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

• Support project initiatives like Continuous Improvements and Technology Enhancements.
• Perform other duties as delegated and support staff development.

• Deliver timely, accurate customer service as per framework.
• Address customer queries proactively and review process efficiencies.

• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Update process documentation accordingly.

• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and maintain training materials.
• Participate in training and contribute to knowledge databases.

• Follow BASF Group guidelines and local regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and consultants.

• Degree in finance, accounting, or business; or Chartered/Certified Accountant qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Financial Reporting or similar, with ERP system knowledge preferred.
