German company and leading manufacturer of products and innovative solutions in fluid technology & industrial automation.

FUNCTIONS

Our client, a German leading manufacturer of products and innovative solutions in fluid technology & industrial automation, is currently seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for Italy. In this position, you will play a key role in expanding the company's long-term market share in Italy, with a focus on Northern Italy.

Your responsibilities:
  1. Sales & Business Development: Active sales of the company’s products and solutions, as well as the development of growth strategies and business models.
  2. Key Account Management & New Customer Acquisition: Managing existing key accounts while acquiring new B2B customers, integrators, and distributors. This includes also on-site visits to customers to strengthen relationships and understand their needs firsthand.
  3. Market Development & Innovation: You will be responsible for the strategic analysis and development of the Italian market, with the goal of increasing long-term market share. You will continuously monitor and analyze market trends, technologies, and materials to ensure that products and solutions are optimally aligned with market demands and remain competitive.
  4. Collaboration with international HQ: Close cooperation with the headquarters in Germany to align market strategies and drive local service/implementation of projects in Italy.
  5. Partner Network: Managing and expanding a network of material manufacturers and integrators to foster synergistic partnerships and optimize market access.
Your profile:
  1. A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus, alternatively, a technical education with relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, dosing technology, fluid technology, or a related field.
  2. Professional experience in technical sales within mechanical engineering. Knowledge in dosing technology is an advantage.
  3. Passion and motivation for business development and strategic market expansion.
  4. A structured, independent, and analytical approach combined with the ability to develop strategies.
  5. Proactive and communicative personality who enjoys direct customer contact.
  6. Flexibility for regular travel within Italy, primarily Northern Italy.
