Grade A Recruitment is working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Peterborough to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire and motivate students, delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons across KS3 KS4.
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical science lessons across KS3 KS4.
- Support students in developing scientific knowledge and practical skills through experiments and demonstrations.
- Ensure safe and effective use of laboratory equipment, maintaining health and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory resources to support high-quality teaching.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe storage and handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and successful science department.
- Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Be confident in planning and delivering practical science lessons.
- Have experience using laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Hold relevant health and safety certificates (or be willing to obtain them).
- Be passionate about teaching and able to inspire students to achieve their potential.
