Description
The role of the Retail Excellence Trainer is to deliver engaging and inspiring theoretical and practical training for the retail division, support customer events, and engage in promotional activities.
This role works with the Retail Excellence Manager and Head of Retail Education to support business goals and brand awareness and drive company sales within the retail channel. The Retail Excellence Trainer for London and the South will be focused on supporting the main ELEMIS doors across speciality, premium and owned locations (example, House of Elemis in Mayfair, Selfridges, Harrods, John Lewis, Boots, Space NK, Sephora). So this is where you would spend most of your days, in the field in Central London!
The key focus of this role is to enhance the skills and knowledge of our retail professionals, ensuring they deliver a high-quality ELEMIS retail journey. This includes incorporating skilled Elemis consultation and premium retail activations, eventing and customer experience. Ensuring that the retail teams are always engaging and have accurate product recommendations, utilising effective sales skills techniques to support store AVO and KPIs, and coaching the retail team to deliver outstanding ELEMIS customer experience. In addition, this role will work towards elevating the knowledge of our specialty stores such as Sephora and Boots staff knowledge and build brand love and loyalty in those stores.
What Will You Do?
This is a hybrid role most typically working in the field in Central London key doors. Other locations of work could include our Baker Street Head Office, Farringdon Training Academy, with some Working From Home.
Candidates should have a reliable home office setup with access to a stable internet connection. Admin days can be taken at home (These will not exceed more than 2 days per week).
Travel: Regular travel is expected to key retail locations and flagship stores as well our London training academy. There will also be occasional travel for conferences, events and meetings, will be required. The main area of travel will be London, but when needed will need to travel to stores in Bicester, High Wycombe, Blue Water and surrounding areas.
This role requires some weekend and evening work to support events. Adequate advanced notice will be provided except in the case of last minute unforeseen emergencies. Lieu time will be provided as compensation for any weekend and evening work, or working week hours will be adjusted.
Overnight Travel: Some overnight travel may be necessary for attending events, conferences, or supporting onsite educational activities.
