GSL Education is working with a welcoming school in Gateshead, seeking a dynamic PE Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.

About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you’ll plan and lead exciting physical education lessons across Key Stages, encouraging students to stay active, work as a team, and build confidence through sport. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in extracurriculars and competitive sports events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons for all abilities
2. Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth
3. Organise and support school sports clubs, events, and competitions
4. Create a safe and encouraging learning environment
5. Assess student progress and provide supportive feedback
6. Collaborate with staff and parents to support student development

What You’ll Need:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Experience teaching PE across Key Stages
3. Passion for promoting physical health and student well-being
4. Great organisational and communication skills
5. Knowledge of PE curriculum and safety standards
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
7. A CV covering the last 10 years with relevant references
