Role Description

Capco are looking for Management Consultants with experience in Financial Services or Banking. Candidates with change management or Technology experience gained as a management consultant or from within a change role in a financial services institution are of particular interest.

It also involves carrying out a variety of consulting assignments for existing customers and new customers in a variety of contexts, including proposition definition, TOM definition, Business transformation, customer training and knowledge transfer, and the definition of bespoke requirements where required for customer platform solutions.

Specific Role Responsibilities

1. Work with our client’s customers & internal stakeholders to help define proposition and product requirements. Provide Market expertise as required. Be an SME in Platform functionality and apply this understanding to help customers define propositions that best utilise or enhance core platform capabilities.
2. Have a full understanding of a Platform Target Operating Model, including the interfaces between platform and customers operations and Investment operations. Provide advice to customers regarding best practice operating model design.
3. Document any bespoke customer requirements, be the solution owner to ensure these are met.
4. Provide review and quality assurance of solution documentation.
5. Provide training programmes and knowledge transfer services for our client’s customers.
6. Provide consultancy services, as required, to other clients and projects.
7. Have a good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which our client operates and provide advice and guidance in respect of delivering a compliancy.

Experience Required

• Experience implementing investment platforms in major financial institutions and wealth management firms.
• Preferably, experience working for or closely with a technology platform provider.
• Experience in wealth and asset management, or pension business.
• Understanding of technology and operations, financial regulations and investment products.
