The College is seeking a Sessional A Level Geography Teacher to support the delivery of A Level Geography programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to planning, teaching and assessment in line with awarding body requirements and the College Learning Framework, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience for all students.

You will be expected to act as a positive role model, maintain high professional standards and embed the college values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Compassion and Ambition in your teaching practice.

The successful A Level Geography Teacher will have:

• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
• Experience delivering A Level Geography in a school or college setting
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to prepare learners for external examinations
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons for post‑16 learners
• Confidence using ICT to support learning and assessment
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality and professional standards
