Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• CCAB Qualified Accountant, with ongoing Continuing Professional Development, or AAT qualified with substantial relevant Financial Management experience
• ECDL or equivalent IT skills

Desirable criteria

• MBA or similar qualification

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Understanding of the NHS, its infrastructure, and partner organisations
• Understanding of the NHS Management and Modernisation Agenda
• Understanding of the NHS and Foundation Trust Financial Regime

Training and Experience

Essential criteria

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, complex environment
• Experience leading change management in complex settings

Desirable criteria

• Experience working in the acute sector
• NHS General Management experience
