The opportunity:

• Temporary
• 30.25 hours per week
• 7.30am-1.30pm M,T,Th,F; 7.15am-1.30pm W

This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering you a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro-rata, and you will receive 1/12th of your salary every month, regardless of school holidays.

A day in the life:

You will be an integral part of the school, managing the kitchen team, preparing, cooking, and serving lunches for students and staff, ensuring an engaging dining experience.

Our central team will support you in managing food safety, health and safety, and food allergens. Our dedicated menu, promotions, and compliance teams will provide you with menu cycles, special diet menus, and promotional posters, allowing you to focus on food preparation.

Our electronic tablet will give you access to our kitchen management system and act as a communication tool, providing updates and minimizing paperwork.

What are we looking for from you?

You should have previous experience working in a busy kitchen, with an organized approach and a good understanding of the food industry, costs, and budgeting.

A passion for delivering excellent customer service is essential, along with strong communication skills and an adaptable work approach.
