Location: HillingdonRole: Food Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3-4.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of nutrition, food science, and practical cookery skills within Food Technology.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Food Technology.
• Potentially contribute to extracurricular cooking clubs or healthy eating initiatives within the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Food Technology.
• Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food science, food safety, and practical cookery techniques relevant to Food Technology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety in the Food Technology kitchen.
• A passion for fostering an understanding of food and cooking skills through Food Technology.
