THE EMPLOYER IS: SEASONS OF THE GLENS CICThe Retail and Food Production Support Assistant role provides structured, entry level experience supporting both online and physical retail activity within Seasons of the Glens CIC, a social enterprise operating across food production, retail, and community focused activity.The role supports online retail systems, and physical retail, order fulfilment, stock handling, and customer service, while also providing supervised exposure to food production support activities. This helps participants develop an understanding of how production, retail operations, and customer experience are linked.The role can be delivered through a mix of office/site and some home based working, depending on tasks and activities. Training and supervision will be provided throughout.Some home working may be available after training, subject to experience and a suitable home working environment with reliable internet access. The role involves working within a small team and a shared workspace.

• Assisting with preparing and updating product listings for the online shop, including product information, images, and pricing.
• Supporting order processing, packing, and dispatch preparation under supervision.
• Assisting with stock checks and maintaining basic inventory and stock records.
• Supporting the setup, presentation, and operation of our physical pop up market stall.
• Providing basic customer service support under guidance.
• Supporting retail related administrative tasks and record keeping.
• Assisting with supervised food production support activities, including labelling, packaging preparation, stock organisation, and basic production records.
• Supporting food safety, traceability, and allergen documentation under guidance.
• Learning retail best practice, customer service standards, and food handling awareness.

• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to follow instructions and processes accurately.
• Interest in retail, customer service, food production/sales, or e commerce.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer interaction.
• Willingness to undertake training and learn new systems and procedures.
• Organised and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work under supervision and ask for guidance when needed.
• Any previous experience in retail, customer service, order fulfilment, or stock handling, whether through work, volunteering, or study.
• Interest in online retail systems or e commerce platforms, including shopify.
• Any previous exposure to food preparation environments or food related activity.
• Interest in food safety, hygiene, or production processes.
• Ability to use own initiative on simple tasks as confidence and experience develop.
