Location: Remote with flexible working arrangements, all UK based locations considered. Our flexible office collaboration spaces are in London, Bristol, Birmingham, and Exeter.

Due to a healthy pipeline of projects and opportunities, we are seeking an experienced transport modeller and data analyst with a passion for sustainable transport to join the team. Experience in transport modelling both model development and application, use of big data, and an interest in decarbonisation, transport appraisals, and the automation of modelling is important.

We are seeking an experienced transport professional, specialising in strategic transport modelling (Saturn & VISUM), with a background supporting modelling for Local Plans, transport strategies, and business cases.

Due to recent growth, we are recruiting a Senior Transport Modeller. The role involves contributing to various transport modelling projects and managing medium-sized projects. Responsibilities include conducting modelling, leading technical reports, overseeing junior staff, and data analysis. There is also scope to support business growth and digital tool development.

You will help grow our business through project delivery and identifying new opportunities, with chances to present at industry conferences.

• Deliver transport modelling (mainly VISUM and Saturn), oversee other modellers.
• Share systems, best practices, tools, and style guidance.
• Autonomously deliver service line tasks, analysis, and content.
• Support and lead smaller tenders/frameworks.
• Promote collaboration and team behaviors.

• Ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
• Manage own contributions and small projects.
• Coordinate site visits.

• Develop and apply multi-modal models (VISUM, CUBE, EMME).
• Traffic modelling using Saturn and VISSIM.
• Support technical report production.
• Review policies and best practices.
• Identify interventions and support appraisal.
• Data analysis (behavioral, forecasting).
• Create graphics and visualizations using GIS and Cadence.

• Produce reports, graphics, visualizations.
• Support stakeholder engagement and workshops.

• Support bids, proposals, campaigns.
• Market analysis and thought leadership.

You’re ambitious, proactive, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and collaborative. You have experience in transport modelling, leading technical projects, and working within a team. You are driven, resilient, and entrepreneurial.

• Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Experience in transport modelling and appraisals.
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant fields.
• Data analysis skills (Python, GIS).
• Transport modelling software skills (VISUM, Saturn, CUBE, EMME, VISSIM).
• Industry awareness (membership of relevant bodies).
• Knowledge of guidance and best practices.
